This is the academic website for Obi L. Griffith, PhD. I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Oncology (secondary appointment in Department of Genetics) and Assistant Director at the McDonnell Genome Institute at Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis. I am also a member of the Siteman Cancer Center and the Division of Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Washington University. My research is focused on the development of precision medicine strategies for cancer using genomic technologies with a particular focus on gene regulatory changes associated with breast cancer. I develop and use bioinformatics, machine learning and statistical methods for the analysis of high throughput sequence data and identification of biomarkers for diagnostic, prognostic and drug response prediction. You can find information about my past and present research, publications, and teaching activities here. You can follow my activities on twitter, biostars, and github.
